3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 JohnCook101 (110) - - FEB 4, 2013500ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with smooth head and some sediment. Mild but pleasantly hoppy aroma. Plenty of hops, dry fruit and citrus flavours give way to a long bitter finish. Slightly over carbonated but not too gassy as some Mallinsons beers can be. Very good.

500ml bottle. Misted, straw coloured pour with a flat white head. Fruit salad chew, melon and red shiny apple in the aroma- softly humming with hop as usual. Fruit salad and lemon rind on the palate which finishes drily with a rasp of husky pale malt. Really digging these Mallinsons beers at the moment.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Jacob23_5 (128) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - JAN 5, 2012
Bottle at home, pours a light orange colour, nice lacing. Citrussy head with some pumpkin, interestingly. Same on the flavour, with a touch more pumpkin even than the head, and a touch of marmalade. Not over-carbonated, nice and easy drinking (in a non-insulting way!).

Bottle at home. Slightly hazy yellow amber, bubbly white head fades to a thin cap. Herbal, slightly lemon, grassy hop nose. Dry bready front, slight citrus, short bitter finish. Not bad.

Cask at CPK, London on 7th December 2011. Pale gold with lasting white head. Hoppy but sweetish fruity aroma. Developing sharp hoppiness after initial chalkiness. Grassy bitterness late then a lasting, rich and intense hoppy finish. Zingy and refreshing texture.

Pale gold pint, foamy pure white head. Aroma is a little fruity, quiter herbal and dry. Taste is similar, but with a lot of emphasis on the dry herbal edge. Bitter finish. As far as blonde ales go, not really my thing.
