3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle conditioned. Pours a straw colour, ever so slightly cloudy with a small white head that lasts throughout. Astringent bitter taste with hops dominant. Reasonably floral with a soft swallow? A really lovely beer, its low abv making it an excellent session beer. Unfortunately I’ve only got the one bottle.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from Beer Gonzo, Coventry. Faintly misted straw heaped finely with white. Deep-stewed, chlorophyll- laden aroma with lychee, passion fruit and lemon zest. Soapy, floral and bitterly nutty with an earthy’, almost smoky malt backdrop. Notes of lavender, grapefruit and marmalade. As expected.

500ml bottle. Cloudy straw colour with a small head that lasts. Cut grass and citrus aroma. Similar flavours with light malt and dry honey flavours. Very dry with a good and lasting bitter finish. Light bodied with moderate carbonation. I enjoyed this one a lot.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle Rehills Newcastle. Pours a beautifully pale gold with just a dusting of gaze from the sediment. Fresh grapefruit & orange aroma, gorgeous creaminess on the tongue, really gets the tastebuds tingling. Moreish finish which really softens on the way down, a mighty fine beer that I could drink loads of.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Cask @ CPK. Very light golden straw color with a tiny white head. The nose is citrus, grapefruit and straw, some lemon curd and sun dried flowers. The taste is medium hoppy, active lemon and more grass. Fresh bitter green shoots. The body’s very light, soft and easy to drink. Overall, I’m very impressed. Mallinsons get great flavor out of the 3.7% ABV. I could happily drink this all afternoon. Great for a sunny afternoon.
