4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 JohnCook101 (109) - - FEB 9, 2013
500ml bottle. Pours cloudy golden with a large white head and plenty of sediment. Lots of citrus flavour and full-on bitter hops. Perhaps slightly over carbonated, which is standard for Mallinson’s beers. Sharp and refreshing, and other than the excess carbonation it’s exactly the kind of beer I love.

Bottle from Jacks, Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at home, Thursday 20th September 2012 Pours hazy gold, bit murky but that was due to a bad pour by me. Sweetness combining with grapefruit well, very nice, touch dry. Really decent beer, very enjoyable.

500ml bottle. Murky orange with a loose white top. Enticing, overripe fruit salad aroma with red apple, melon and pineapple notes. Big robust fruit salad flavour finishing bitterly. Shiny red apple aftertaste. Some Feta and rabbit fur in the aroma as it wakes up. A lovely, resoundingly bitter bag of fruit.
