3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask Conditioned Handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A light gold coloured beer with a white head and lacing. The aroma is hoppy with grapefruit citrus notes. The taste is hoppy to with a hint of spice. The citrus is fairly sharp and verging on harsh. It’s a decent beer but just needs a bit more malt backbone.
