COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Malmgård Blond Ale is light coloured and fruity beer. Its soft and appealing body stems from Malmgård’s organic wheats, Finnish malts and the spring water for its own well. The distinctive fruitiness is achieved by using four different hops and a Belgian yeast, resulting in a real thirst duster. It is available in bottles and on tap in selected shops, bars and restaurants all over Finland. It is also possible to visit the brewery and buy Malmgård Dinkel on site. In the near future Malmgård Blond Ale will also be available in Estonia.

Bottled. A hazy yellow beer a beige head. The aroma has notes of peaches and other fruits as well as spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of peaches, malt, and some dry spices, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

Really like the honey, ginger on the nose. The body is a bit dissapointing. Quite light. Easy drinking. Fresh.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of og6gdx. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Yeasty dominates the nose, quite some fruit as well - perhaps a whiff of coriander. Medium body, some sweet fruit and a heavy, astringent yeastiness. But in spite of the low ABV fairly true to a Belgian style Blonde ale. 230112

"Belgian Ale.....??? You must be mad"I thought as I read the description of this critter. .5 L from rosenberg. Strong tone of hop throughout. Wheat malts are supportive of the Belgian yeast strain which does have a lovely nose of spice and light citrus. Some thin yeast I assume was from bottle conditioning. Bright and golden in glass with a dense white head. Body is not cloying and is quite the refreshing mouth opener. Cereal finish mixed with hop and yeast zing.
