Sweet smell, malty. Clear golden apperance. Sweet flavour, hints of hops in the finish. Well balanced, but a bit to bland for my liking. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Vaaland, Bryne. Pours dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is malty, marmelade. Taste of dusty malts, cellar and nuts, light bitter finish. Weak carbonated with a soft mouthfeel, not a beer for the history book.

0.5l bottle. It’s crystal clear in the glass, dark golden-ish in color and it has a small quite bubbly and islandy just off-white head. It doesn’t really small all that special really. Some sweetness with caramel and generic fruits, some sugar syrup and actually traces of thin watered down cognac. Smells absolutely decent. It’s quite thin almost what I would call watery on the mouthfeel and the carbonation level is below average. Doesn’t taste that bad either. It is quite fruity this, but it’s completely lacing bitterness. Something almost burned and nutty in the finish. No off flavors, but wish it had a bit more of that nice thing called bitterness. 03.04.2013

Sigmund (4166) - Tau, NORWAY - MAY 12, 2013
500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.5%. I sampled this beer first at a Vectura tasting, and thought it was horrible, so I felt compelled to buy a bottle to see if I got a better impression. Clear amber to brown colour, low white head. Malty aroma, notes of stale fruit jam, but not as bad as I remembered it. Moderate carbonation, soft mouthfeel. The flavour is malty with notes of toffee and nuts, a little fruit, decent hops in the finish. Maybe not the greatest beer in the world, but far from horrible. Must have sampled a bad bottle the first time.

ClubGonzo (2704) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAR 30, 2013
Bottle from ICA Maaseskjæret, Bergen. Pours a deep, slightly hazy orange body with a small white head. Nose is light floral nutty grain tones with hints of red berries far in the back. Taste is mellow grainy malt tones with hints of floral hop tones biscuits and nuts in the finish. All very subtle flavors, yet it works very well in a faint harmonious kinda way. Body is quite watery and carbonation is a bit too soft to save the impression, which is the only drawback from an otherwise very refreshing and nice session beer.
