A black color with a thick, frothy head. Aroma displays well the characteristics of a solid roasty malt backbone; it has coffee in abundance, some chocolate, rye bread and nuts. Taste is at first sweetish and chocolaty, later drier and roastier elements appear but overall roastiness is a bit weaker ihan expected. Very little hoppiness. Palate is medium bodied, smooth and creamy. Nicely malty porter, might be better with even more robust roastiness.
