UPDATED: JAN 21, 2012 50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 14.08.2012
Aroma is sweet and fruity with hops and resin – feels actually very much like typical american barley wine. Also hints of hay and vanilla. Flavour is somewhat hoppy and sweet with hay, grain, some fruits and hints of cardboard. A bit too sweet and sticky, but I guess it wouldn’t improve from this point anyway.

Bottle.
Deep amber with a medium white head. Sweet aroma and taste. Malt, toffee, dried fruit, good balance. Nothing sensational but pleasantly drinkable. The finish had some warming alcohol.

Bottle at The Cad’s Pure Mad Rocket Mon The Beezer Tasting. Pours a cloudy, reddish-brown with a light film. Rich, aged malts with bread, toffee and caramel in the nose. Flavor not quite as nice as the aroma. Lightly sweet, with some modest caramel, sweet bread, honey, malts, and very light bitterness. Medium in body with fine, tingly carbonation and alcohol warmth. Has a sweet finish with strong notes of toffee and malts, tingly booze in the mouth and throat. Interesting, pretty good.

Bottle, Cad’s drink up we’ve got a table and we need to drink Mikkeller, mon the beezers and leave at 6 epic tastings
Big yeasty musty perfume on aroma, pine bread cheese and cardboard on the mouth feel, really don’t get this one at all. I don’t know if this particular bottle travelled poorly or I am just not getting this. Very raw on my palate. I just don’t get this one.
