Finwe (386) - Grankulla, FINLAND - JUL 21, 2013
Draught at Viisi Penniä, Helsinki. Hazy light yellow with rather small head. Very hoppy aroma with floral and estheric components. Typical flavour of wheat malt with lots of hoppy notes and a bit too much bitterness for a Hefeweizen. Quite high carbonation. A sweetish-bitter finish.

Marstonlad (328) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 11, 2013
Draught at Kaisla, Helsinki. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy head. Aroma has plenty of citrus, orange, some wheat and some spicy notes. Taste is more bitter than sweet, moderately hopped and dryish. Citrusy flavours mix with wheaty maltiness. Palate is light to medium bodied, average carbonation - drinkable. Nice hoppy wheat beer from Malmgård.

esox (969) - Oulu, FINLAND - JUL 4, 2013
Draught. Hazy yellow-brown beer with a frorhy head. Lots of phenolic yeast, juicy grapefruity hops, some weird medicinal and smoky notes. Flavor starts sweetish wheaty, but unfortunately thin. Quite dry and watery all the east, medium bitter finish. Light to medium body.

Brandman (1992) - Helsinki, FINLAND - JUL 1, 2013
Hazy yellow body, white head. Aroma has lots of fruits and yeast, peaches and little alcohol. Flavour is more mellow with some grainy wheat and slick fruity sweetness. Something is off for me. Next proto please.

Draught @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere 14.6.2013. Hazy amber beer with small white head. Belgian yeasty aroma with bananas. Fruity flavour, sweetish and malty, bananas and yeast too. Medium body and soft mouthfeel. Got a bit duller when warmed up.

Turboninja (78) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 16, 2013
A bit mild aroma but distinguished: citric/honey. Basic murky appearance. A but bitter taste with flavour of vanilla, wheat and too fresh flavour. Light palate.

olio (5260) - Tampere, FINLAND - JUN 13, 2013
Tap @ Gastropub Nordic, Tampere.
Pours cloudy golden color with a small head. Aroma of grass, wheat, yeast and some hops, also some distant berry notes. Flavour of wheat, yeast, goose berries, citrus fruits and toffee. Surprisingly decent, not as messy as I expected. Could be a bit more refreshing though.

(Keg at St. Urho’s Pub, 20130613) The beer poured pale golden and quite hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had hops and fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grapefruit, hops, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. The hefeweizen characteristics were very mild. This was more like a hoppy wheat ale. Not bad.
