Black color, with brown head that caps it like steady whipped cream. Harmonious aroma, delicate roasted malts, some alcohol, light anise (think Sambuca), very light esters and milk; interesting. Good, soft roasted malt flavor (have to say, it’s winter-room temperature, and some of the carbonation is gone); there’s a quid, not clearly oak or wood; the bitterness is quite strong an plays well with the alcohol warmth.
Not standing out or characteristic, but a well brewed beer as usual.

Bottle. Pours a black color with a small longlasting tan head. has a roasted malty chocolate hoppy woody aroma with weak peaty hints. Roasted malty woody chocolate and weak licorice hoppy flavor. Has a roasted malty weak peachy hoppy woody chocolate finish.

Black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, coffee, some wood, dried fruit, licorice and vanilla. Rather soft mouthfeel and "easy" to drink. Not bad at all.

F: way to much vanilla here! = dry, cocolate powder, lacmus paper, sorry but reduce the amount of vanilla and we can talk again

Draught at Örebro Beer&Whisky Festival 2012. Black beer with a small brownish head. Malty vanilla aroma, caramel, oak, vanilla notes, raisins, roasted, chocolate, cocoa powder, licorice, creamy, some dades and plums. Chocolate flavor, vanilla, caramel, raisins, hay, roasted, cocoa powder, pine, pear, citrus notes, licorice. Roasted vanilla finish, chocolate, raisins and caramel. Huge improvement from the original.
