Hazy amber color; creamy head; nice lace. Mild aroma of vanilla oak, light caramel and apples. Smooth and round body, sweet malt and caramel flavor; good bitterness level with pleasant vanilla vein; there is not much hop character, it’s a very good oak aged ale.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma with hints of wood and vanilla. Sweetish malty hoppy flavor with hints of vanilla. Has a fruitty sweetish malty hoppy bitter finish with hints of vanilla in the aftertaste.

On tap. Pours an almost clear dark amber with an off-white head. Sweet oak and vanilla in the nose. Medium-bodied, sweetish fruit and caramel with a very distinct sweetish touch of oak and vanilla. A little sulphur in the finish but the sweet oaky notes has balanced out most of the bitterness. Nice one. 050211

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small and white head. Aroma is caramelish and sweet. Lingering fruity and slight vanilla. Sweet and malty into a crisp fruity and slight hoppy finish. Ends sweet.
