rosenbergh (10656) - Tampere, FINLAND - DEC 29, 2014
Draught at the Konttori, Tampere, Finland. Hazy mid-brown colour with a mid-size dense creamy off-white head. Resiny and piney hops, a lot of sweetness, moderate bitterness and sweet caramel maltiness in the aroma. The flavour is piney and resiny hops, strong bitterness, some alcohol burn, sweetness and maltiness. Strong. Rather balanced. Warms a lot. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap @ Olutravintola Konttori.
Pours hazy golden color with a small steady head. Nice hoppy aroma, some sweet orange and mango, some pine and resin also. Grapefruits and resin on the flavor, lemon and caramel too. Bitter fruity palate. Some alcohol warmth towards the end. A bit sweet but otherwise decent.

Draught @ Konttori. Aroma has pine forest, fruity hops, resin and some alcohol-glue tones. Flavour has sweet fruits, pineapple juice, resin and gluey tones. Alcohol is also present; it is warming but also disturbing. Finishes with nice lingering hops. Decent.

Svesse (7932) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - DEC 18, 2014
(Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival, 26 Sep 2014) Amber colour with dense, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of pine needles, grapefruit, citrus peel and biscuits. Fruity, malty taste with citrus, grapefruit, resin, biscuity malt and an impressive piney, citric bitterness in the finish. Almost full body, with a certain sweetness. Solid and well made DIPA with loads of hops. Possibly a bit one-dimensional, but very nice.

Tap@pikkis. Amber darker orange, hazy. Bready, soft grainy nose, toffee malty, piney. Soft nkce bittered, malty piny bready. Real nice. Bit over malty, not as clean as I’d like, but nice overall.

mjs (6534) - Helsinki, FINLAND - NOV 29, 2014
(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20141129) The beer poured deep amber and a little bit hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, grass, bread and mildly citricness. Palate was medium bodied and mildly warming with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, malts, grass, bread and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, fruity and bitter. A double IPA bordering barley wine. Less sweetness would have resulted in better brew.
