Dark mahogany color, small compact head. Mil aroma of roasted malt. Dry mouthfeel, moderate roasted malt flavor, a bit dusty; some caramel flavor too; correct bitterness.
It’s an easy beer, well brewed as usual; it makes sense to know that it was designed to be dry to marry the fatty Swedish Julebord.

From tap at the brewpub as Brown Ale. Pours light brown with a huge head. Aroma is roasted and malty, light caramelish. Medium bitter, breadish and roasted. Bitter and caramelish finish.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a dark ruby amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy dark fruit aroma. Sweetish malty spicy weak licorice and dark fruit flavor. has a sweetish malty spicy licorice caramel and dark fruit finish.

Clear brownish with a small head. Mostly malt in this one, also caramel and some light notes of fruit. Not much spices in this beer. The finish was dry.

Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel and dried fruits with notes of licorice and burnt sugar.
Sweet and fruity flavour of caramel and dried fruits with notes of spices and burnt sugar.
Sweet finish.

Sample at ÖÖWF. Malty smell with a light spiciness in the background. Similar taste. Light and mild, maybe something for the Christmas feast.

Draught at Örebro Beer&Whisky Festival 2012. Somewhat hazy amber beer with a small offwhite head. Caramel aroma, toffee, vanilla notes, biscuits, roasted notes, chocolate, raisins, dades, milk notes, banana, grapes, some cocoa powder.
