Unclear hazy medium amber grey hazy color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, phenol, spicy, chlorine, sharp rubber. Flavor is light heavy sweet, light to moderate acidic and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. IMO horrible >;O(( [20110212]

Kopparfärgad, fenolisk, kryddig: mest anis och aningen kanel, karamell, konstiga kemiska toner åt gummi och en lite väl tilltagen beska. Dessutom serverad för kall.

Dark amber color; generous head. Vicious herbal aroma, juniper. Sweet caramel flavor, with too strong spices/herbs (juniper? porse/bog myrtle?), getting soapy too; ordinary bitterness. Failure.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy brownish amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a slightly roasted malty spicy caramel aroma with hints of cinnamon. Roasted malty bitter spicy caramel flavor with earthy hoppy hints and weak hints of dark fruit. Has a roasted malty spicy finish with a long bitter aftertaste.

On tap. Clear orangey brown with a creamy off-white head. Lots of anise and phenols in the nose. Medium body, plenty of star aniseed, phenols and other spices. Ends dryish. Pretty freaking horrible - sorry. 050211

From tap at the brewpub. Pours cloudy brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is spiced and vegetables, caramelish malty. Spiced and vegetables. Dry phenolic to herbal, light caramelish note coming through. Ends dry and spiced. Herbal liqourice finish. Not my thing.

Fruity aroma of caramel and spices with notes of burnt plastic.
Fruity flavour of caramel, grass, spices, hops and puke with notes of liquorice.
Spicy finish.
