Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), - APR 20, 2011
500 ml bottle in Germany. Pours a murky dark brown with a very fast to exit tan head. Aroma is citrus, malt and burnt bananas. the taste is kind of like putting an A cup bra on Dolly Parton. It just does not fit. It is too swet and fizzy and little character. Palate is thin but leaves my mouth numb.

Sampled at a gas station outside of Stuttgart. I really enjoyed. Served cold and it came out nice with a pretty good head and a dark hue. A pretty well made dark hefe.

Bottle 0,5l. Thanks to Rune! Brown colored. A medium sized tanned creamy head that vanished. Hazy. Modest aroma of citrus. Swet fruity flavor with some malt. A bit too carbonated. Some fruity bitterness in the aftertaste.

labelled Stuttgart Hefe-Weizen - I had this beer many years ago at one time when I was only giving ratings to the beers but was too lazy and stupid to write down my thoughts. I will update this as soon as I get my hands on this beer again.
