It’s unclear golden with a creamy, huge and white head. The aroma has notes of yeast, banana and wheat. The sweet flavor is a tad thin bodied but basically has the same notes as the aroma. The finish is slightly spicy.

500ml bottle. Aroma is yeast, light algae with hints of malt. Appearance is cloudy orange with a medium sized white head. Taste us sweet and light sour. Palate is a little thin with, light dryness. Medium carbonation. Overall a standard Bavarian Weizen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldenes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig, würzig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, reife Bananen, leicht würzig.

Let me start out by saying that I drank this in a dive bar in Stuttgart. Even still, this is a German beer brewed locally, so my expectations were high. They shouldn’t have been. Soapy and basically a lower end Weissbier. What the hell happened here?

So I just got home from Beglium and I’m not really in the mood of drinking another boring German Hefeweizen but I’m not a kind of girl who saves the worst for the last, so it was time to open it (bought on the last vacation to the South of Germany). Colour was milky golden-yellow with steady creamy head and medium body. Nose of yeast. Taste of pure yeast, baking soda, ripe bananas and fruit salad. Awful and undelicious to drink, had problems finishing the glass, what doesn’t happen that often. But I know that this beer ain’t that bad and that I’m just not in the mood of German Hefeweizens at the moment, therefore the score I’ll give it is right fair.

Sampled from a 16.9 oz brown bottle this beer poured a tan-golden color with a huge fluffy yellow-white head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet bread, honey, clove and had a faint herbal presence. The flavor was honey, bread and candied golden fruits. The finish was long and the body fairly full. Nice.

Bottle 50cl, a cloudy golden orange beer with good head and lacing. Nose is fantastic on wheat and banana perfume. Aroma is slightly sweet, malty body, bit watery, almost creamy, well balanced, a decent weizen beer, just above the average.
