COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Colour: black with a brown head. Taste; intensive. Beautiful persistant head that looks like cappuccino. The aroma is of caramel and rhubarb, and it feels the print of English hops. It's a beer for meditation, drink calmly. While it settles in the glass you will discover an intriguing aroma that will remind you of brandy. On the tongue it leaves a taste of liquorice, panna cotta, Irish coffee and bitter cocoa notes. It's "dangerously drinkable".

Si presenta scura con un bel cappello di schiuma nocciola. Aroma di malto affumicato non molto intenso. Al palato risulta watery, sentori di noccioline, malto affumicato non molto marcati. Non molto convincente

Very dark beer with a beige head that seems to remain for ever. A lot of sweet malty aromas. The same in the taste. No sourness of burned malts at all. Also no signs of any bitterness. Full bodied and sticky mouthfeel.

Dark ruby brown, small beige head. Barnyardish, lightly chocolaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Reasonably clean coffeish and roasted flavor, although there is some barnyardish notes. Smooth palate. Harmless but also a bit characterless. For being Italian, it is ok.

An unclear brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with a slight acidic tinge. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of chocolate, leading to a slightly burnt aftertaste.

(Bottle 50 cl) Comes as "Malthus All Black". Slightly hazy dark brown - close to black - with a neat, creamy, beige head. Vinous, complex nose with a whiff of tartness. Medium body with some accents of dried fruits - raisins in particular. Weak tartness overall. Discreet bitterness. Quite pleasant but too mellow to be a Schwarzbier. 160206

Bottled: Dark red/brown coloured. Hazy. Light brown head. Light sour and light fruity aroma. Chocolate, sweetness and some fruits in the flaovur. I can’t detect the rhubarb, but some herbal notes is there. Is light bitter in the end. A bit thin bodied. Not a schwarzbier in my book, but who cares anyway.
