COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Per l’occasione presentiamo in esclusiva per il Ponente Ligure la Birra Ambrata prodotta dal Birrificio Maltus Faber di Genova dedicata a Francesco Guccini. La ricetta è leggermente diversa dall’Ambrata normale, anche la gradazione alcolica è diversa (6%ABV invece dei 7 della Ambrata regolare).

La Ambrata in una versione leggermente differente (6%ABV) per celebrare il compleanno di Guccini; a prescindere da Guccini, è piuttosto godibile.

At first I believed this was just a different label for the "Ambrata", but it obviously is a ligthly different brew: apart from the alcohol content (6 instead of 7% ABV), this ale does lose even the small mildness of the original Ambrata, resulting in a sharp, unclean and sourish ale dominated by the titanic profile of the yeast; I believe this was an experiment aimed at turning the Ambrata into a session beer but somehow it went wrong. The complex, fruity aroma is the best part of this strange brew; label is black and has a locomotive and the face of singer-songwriter Francesco Guccini in the background.
