Fruity sweet malt forward aroma has some herbal hop tones. Clear golden body with low white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Sweet malt flavour with plenty of fruity esters and light herbal hop notes leading to a light finishing bitterness. Light body with moderate carbonation but just a bit watery in texture. Cask at GBBF 2005.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Pours a straw colour with a very short head. Not much aroma, the taste is thin and watery but some fruit present with a sweet finish.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Cask conditioned handpull at Saracen’s Head, Worcester. Decent golden ale, some fruit salad. Some decent pale mlat. Pretty decent, I liked it. Even some pear flesh. Bit of pale biscuit on the malts.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. ARoma is barnyard, earth, some harsh notes as well as mild suplhur. Flavour is quite much the same. Very earthy finish. Also cooked vegetables.
