Fruity sweet malt forward aroma has some herbal hop tones. Clear golden body with low white head that recedes rapidly to ring. Sweet malt flavour with plenty of fruity esters and light herbal hop notes leading to a light finishing bitterness. Light body with moderate carbonation but just a bit watery in texture. Cask at GBBF 2005.

Cask at GBBF 2011. Pours a straw colour with a very short head. Not much aroma, the taste is thin and watery but some fruit present with a sweet finish.

This is easily among the best beers I have ever had the pleasure to sup. It is elegant, hoppy and sublime. Once tried, you’ll be hooked. I can’t get enough. Yet another superb creation from MHB

Cask (GBBF 2010) - Golden in colour. Grapefruit features in the aroma. The taste is hoppy with hints of grapefruit and aniseed. Moderate bitterness.

Golden with a small white head. Fruity and floral aroma with caramel notes. Thin watery malty flavour with grassy hop notes

Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, apple, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

6th August 2008. On tap at GBBF. Clear golden beer. Soft hops - fruity - does have a pear tone in the soft dry finish. Pleasant and a little different.

Cask conditioned handpull at Saracen’s Head, Worcester. Decent golden ale, some fruit salad. Some decent pale mlat. Pretty decent, I liked it. Even some pear flesh. Bit of pale biscuit on the malts.

A Mes rate. Cask at GBBF.
Darkish gold with a very thin white head. Sweet fruity malt, plenty of sourness, clear vegetable notes, earthy and just generally too sweet. Boo.

Cask@GBBF 2009. Golden color, not much head. Barnyardish, woody aroma .. ugh. Sweet pear fruity flavor with late woody bitterness. Odd.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. ARoma is barnyard, earth, some harsh notes as well as mild suplhur. Flavour is quite much the same. Very earthy finish. Also cooked vegetables.
