Deep red copper with a small off-white head. Vineous dried fruit aroma with burnt caramel and molasses, and a hint of apple peel. Sweet fruity flavour with spices and dark sugars. Warming alcohol and a little too much carbonation

On tap at Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant in Gent, Belgium. It poured a dark amber liquid with a dirty white head. Caramely malty sweet flavour. Felt a bit one-dimensional, but was ok.

Dark brown colour. Quite a thick texture. Medium sweet flavour with a reasonable level of maltiness. A touch of bitterness comes through in the finish.

Draft at Waterhuis. Hazy brown color, beige head. Aroma of caramel, butterscotch. Taste is sweet, rich for a 6-7% beer, but overall a bit plain.

Pours a clear redish brown color with a medium beige head. Aroma of fruits and mild sourness. The aroma is fruity and earthy, there’s some sweetness and sourness. Not great, but quite drinkable.

It’s red mahogany with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, raisin and other dried, dark fruits and yeast. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol, raisin, roasted malt, caramel, light yeast and the alcohol is found in the finish too.
