COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redolent of coffee and dark chocolate, Double Nut Brown is our amped-up version of a traditional brown porter. This dark ale combines a mild sweetness with a finishing roasty dryness, and is brewed with roasted, brown and dark Munich malts.

12oz bottle thanks to largadeer. Pours a very dark brown color with a small off-white head that leaves a ring. Aroma is very nutty and roasty with with a little tobacco. Flavor is slightly sweet and nutty with earth, roast, and caramel. Medium-bodied with average carbonation. Pretty good overall.

Decent brown. Right down the road, but a tiny bit towards the more watery brown.

My first brew from Mammoth Brewing. I was expecting a little more body to this beer. It is a good beer, but it could be a bit better. Mouthfeel is a little weak/wattery carbonation hits the front of the tongue, when it should be a little more smooth. There is a good flavor here, that could be improved by just a little more body. I would definitely try another brew from Mammoth Brewing.

Bottled, dark brown/ruby pour with brown head, heavy roasted coffee aroma, clean roasted taste with slight acidic finish, thin bodied on palate, refreshing

Appearance: Pours a clear, amber brown with a decent frothy head. Aroma: Strong roast and coffee. Taste: Bitter roast, toasted nuts and spicy hops. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Overall: I love the orast, the flavor is bold, my favorite brown ale in a long while.

Deep brown color with mahogany hints. Little to no head that seems to be tan. Roasted and chocolate malts dominate the nose. Thin, viscous mouthfeel. Dark chocolate with root beer and a cola finish. Very tingly carbonation. Not a bad offering.

12oz Bottle. Clear, dark brown color with a very small, tan head. Little aroma of musk, hazelnuts, chocolate, roasted malt. Mouth is medium with a little crisp carbonation. Not dry or wet. Flavor is very nice. There’s lots of hazelnut--but not fake tasting--lots of mellow, roasted malt, chocolate, light apple and caramel notes. Great tasting brown.
