COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Redolent of coffee and dark chocolate, Double Nut Brown is our amped-up version of a traditional brown porter. This dark ale combines a mild sweetness with a finishing roasty dryness, and is brewed with roasted, brown and dark Munich malts.

Flaske: Sortbrun klar øl med et fint skumhoved. Duften er maltet med en del sødlig kaffe. Smagen er kaffepræget sød. God porter der bestemt bliver bedre af at blive drukket i bjørneland.

Strong coffee smell, body is a bit watery to my liking. Bland finish. Drinkable, but many other porters I like much better.

12 oz bottle purchased as a single at the Lodgepole general store in Sequoia National Park. The pour is brown with a small khaki head. The aroma is big not brown and roast. The taste is the nut brown and roast of the nose, clean and fresh flavors. The palate is medium bodied with a lingering mineral, some pine and the residual nut.

Pour out of 12 oz bottle, dark reddish black pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of roast, coffee, cocoa powder, hints of nuts, hints of earth, slight acidic malt, some caramel in there as well. Taste is a mix of caramel, toffee, roast, coffee, cocoa, lots of sweet fruity notes, nuts, some spice, finishing sweet, spicy.

On tap at Base Camp Pizza. Pours dark, thin head. Aroma and flavor of roasted malt, cocoa, and nutty. Not bad, the only complaint I have is the palate is a bit thin. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
