3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Dogbrick (4531) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - DEC 13, 2011
This brew is a clear orange-gold color with a medium bone white head that recedes steadily to a film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of floral hops, citrus and malt. Medium body with flavors of herbal hops, malt and citrus fruits. The finish is moderately hoppy with a fruity aftertaste. Not exactly "epic’, but not bad either.

Poured into a pint glass. Color is a cloudy amber. Aroma is mild but has floral hops. Flavor is light bready malts at the start and turns into a hoppier finish. Palate is light bodied and has a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall a good IPA.

A clear amber beer with a decent creamy head that sticks around and leaves lace. Smells of piney hops, a bit of citrus, and some caramel malt. Flavor is not so much hop flavor as crystal malt, with a decent dose of bitterness to finish.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 kmweaver (3025) - Santa Rosa, California, USA - SEP 8, 2011
22oz bottle. Pours a murky orange color; fine-bubbled off-white head with solid lacing. Dank, sweet and orangey aroma; amarillo shows through, along with some candied sweetness and a bit of alcohol. Muddled but tasty, in a phrase. Medium-full body, modest CO2. Chewy candied maltiness, with the orange character running up against that juicy orange hop note; lightly warming, a slight coarseness in the presentation, but overall a delicious (if muddled) IPA. Seems bulkier than 6.5%, but that’s mostly residual sweetness. Medium-length finish: toasty, citrusy, a bit sweet.
4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 thetmaxx (383) - West Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 7, 2011
This was poured from the gift pack I received from the brewery. Aroma is nice, cleanly hopped. Flavor is mildly bitter, but not overly for a regular ipa. Overall its pretty great!

Can... Poured golden with a white head. Very sweet, like hop candy. Slightly floral, sweet tart-like yeast esters, malty sweetness, dry carbonated palate, hoppy finish.
