3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 joohefner (380) - Isla Vista, California, USA - JAN 3, 2008
browned amber with medium light head. fairly typical IPA, emphasizing floral grapefruit hops. slightly sweet and not too bitter. easy drinking and a good choice for anyone who doesn’t like too bitter of a beer Earlier Rating: 8/25/2007 Total Score: 2.9 clear orange-amber color with full medium tan head. strong floral hop aroma with a light spiciness. medium light body. very floral taste with medium bitterness, and caramel way in the back. seems a little out of balance with the finishing hops, doesnt let enough of the beer through

Poured into a pint glass. Color is a cloudy amber. Aroma is mild but has floral hops. Flavor is light bready malts at the start and turns into a hoppier finish. Palate is light bodied and has a slightly sticky mouthfeel. Overall a good IPA.

A clear amber beer with a decent creamy head that sticks around and leaves lace. Smells of piney hops, a bit of citrus, and some caramel malt. Flavor is not so much hop flavor as crystal malt, with a decent dose of bitterness to finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 mesperon (205) - Hillsdale, New Jersey, USA - DEC 26, 2009
Unfortunately, this wasn’t a very Epic IPA, or maybe the name set my expectations too high. Light clear amber. Grassy hops on the nose. Plasticy, grassy, and a little citrussy hops on the palate. Thin feel. The bitternes from the hops was there, but the flavor wasn’t good. To acutely bitter, without enough flavor and aroma.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dirt55 (198) - Washington, USA - JAN 30, 2010
Bottled, clear light brown/dark yellow pour with large tan head, aroma of piney hops with faint malt breadiness, prominent spruce hops on palate with faint malt sweetness, clean/crisp finish, not as overly watery as their pale, mellow as expected from from true ipa

Nice strong floral hoppy nose and the mouth makes due on its promise. A nice complex medium-bodied hoppilicious IPA.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bytemesis (161) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - MAY 8, 2012
Bottle. Sold as Tuolumne Meadows IPA in Yosemite Park. Pours clear amber with a medium head that has good staying power and some lacing. Nice hoppy aroma, with citrus taking the fore, backed by pine. Taste is hops dominated with a nice up-front punch of grapefruit, with a citrus/pine body and a lightly bitter finish. Smooth drinking and well crafted. Nice effort.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 TheLeadDog (101) - Kent, Washington, USA - SEP 20, 2006
I sampled this brew in Bridgeport Calif. at $10.00 a 6 pack! A good IPA but not great. Good color, and head. Taste of carmel and citrus. Not much in the way of hops. I like a little more body and aftertaste in a IPA and this beer fell a little short but better than the usual.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 headheldhigh (100) - Walnut, California, USA - APR 2, 2011
On tap this brew pours out a golden yellow with a nice head. Smells of hops pine trees and lemon peels. Tastes of California hops and citrus fruits. Don’t expect Pliny the elder Arrogant bastard or DFH 120 but a refreshing ipa. Went well with hot wings and smoked cheddar.
