4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 thetmaxx (383) - West Sacramento, California, USA - SEP 7, 2011
This was poured from the gift pack I received from the brewery. Aroma is nice, cleanly hopped. Flavor is mildly bitter, but not overly for a regular ipa. Overall its pretty great!
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 badbeer (434) - Iowa, USA - JUL 7, 2008
Pours a nice, fairly clear, amber color; but with very little head and no lacing. Smell has some nice juicy citrus hops, balanced well with the some sweet caramel from the malt. This one has a very nice aroma to it, but not quite a 4.5 for me. Taste comes off a little more floral, but still retaining an excellent balance of malt and hops. By balance, I mean that hops are dominant, as it is an IPA, but the malt keeps it from being one sided. Less than medium level of carbonation, with a medium body. This is a beer that beginners can love as well as the experienced hophead. I think this would be a staple beer of mine if it were available in my area.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Ungstrup (22911) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - JUN 18, 2005
A hazy orange beer with a fine though collapsing white head. The aroma is lovely grassy and hoppy - and so is the flavor.

Bottled: Nice, fruity, resinous, pineapple hop aroma; caramel maltiness and balancing fruity hop bittering balnace; round and clean; great IPA.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 hayduke (2445) - Eureka, California, USA - JAN 5, 2011
This 22-oz bottle came from from BevMo in Sacramento, CA. It poured a clear copper with very nice foamy off-white head that tended toward light yellow. Medium body and a very slick and oily mouthfeel The flavor is lightly roasted caramel malts with a big hop profile with a good dose of citrus, flowers, and pine hops. Lots of resin in this one. The finish is long, dry and bitter. I like this a great deal, and would serve with pride to any of my beer loving friends.

Thanks for the brew ckeegan04
Poured into a standard pint glass amber bodied brew with a good two finger worth of head that goes to a nice looking lace
The floral piney hops hit your nose first then the malts follow it up.
Flavors are a nice hop forward but not to hoppy that it makes you pucker a nice balance .A nice mouthfeel with proper carbonation for the style
An easy drinking IPA very sesionable I could easily grab a six of this a good brew all in all
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerguy101 (4825) - Newark, California, USA - DEC 10, 2006
This IPA pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is piney and citrusy (orange and grapefruit), some caramel. A medium bodied IPA. Malts are caramel and sweet. Hops are piney and grapefruity. More hops in the aroma than in the flavor. Its more of an English style IPA, but still has a nice hop presence. A mild to medium bitter IPA. Malt sweetness is balanced by some nice juicy hops. Very drinkable IPA. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.
