Smooth drinking but a little bit weak for an ale. Perhaps it had been sitting in the keg for awhile at the restaurant.

I’m not really a fan of lighter beers, and this certainly falls into that category. The aroma was practically non-existent as well, which was disappointing.

This beer falls somewhere between ass and Labatt’s. Pours clear gold with a decent white head. Aroma is grassy and sweet. The flavor is not. It is bitter but weak. There is a nice little hop in the end that almost makes you forget the swill that preceded it. Almost.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 fordest (1954) - Santee/San Diego, California, USA - JUN 1, 2006
12 oz bottle. Pours pale yellow with very little head. Very little head thanks to very little carbonation. The mouthfeel was very light as well. The aroma was so light it was almost undectectable. The flavor was pretty weak, but what was there was okay. Malty mostly, with some hops on the finish. I think it was definitly made not to offend.

Pours with a pale yellow body with no head or lacing. The aroma is slightly bitter and hayey with a slight malt note and a touch of sourness. The flavor is similar with a bit more sweetness. Light bodied and smooth.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 vwsteggie (684) - Paxton, Massachusetts, USA - JUL 30, 2004
Had this on tap at the AustriaHof Hotel in Mammoth Lakes. Has a light golden color with some carbonation and little head. Smell is of light malts. Taste is also lightly malted and finishes lightly hopped. Overall an average beer, easy to drink, but nothing special.

Probably their weakest and worst offering, unless you’re a fan of the style - I’d save your money. But hey, its better than Bud, Coors, or Miller . . def not awful by an means
2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 jimhilt (2166) - Bow, New Hampshire, USA - SEP 4, 2006
Pours with a two finger white head that fades quickly to a ring leaving traces of lace. Pale clear amber color. Very light carbonation and light bodied. Hoppy/piney nose. Starts bland and boring, hints of malt and hops but seems watery, good lawnmower beer. Glad I only bought one. $1.69 for a 12oz bottle from Hi-Time Cellars Costa Mesa, Ca.
