Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of has notes of lemon making it a bit acidic. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw and light notes of malt and minerals, leading to a dry mineral finish. Thanks Papsoe for sharing.

CBC 12oz can-pours yellow with a white head. Aroma is herbal/spice, light malt. Taste is herbal/spice, light malt-with slight sweetness.

Draft. Golden beer with an off-white head. Grain and light malt aroma. Malt and light fruity flavor with light grain. Medium bodied. Malt and light grain lingers with light fruitiness and light spice.

12oz can (Golden Trout). Rating #38. Golden pour with a nice white head. Mold aroma, grains and malt, clean. Mild bite, crisp and clean with a mild aftertaste. Nice drinker. (2340)

Sample at brewery. Ckear golden pour with a whisp of white bubbles. Aroma is light toasted malt and minimal background hops. Taste is a bit off with a slightly metallic twinge. Clean mouthfeel but I did not find this to be a good example of the style.

Sampled at CanFest 2011 in Reno. Pours a dark yellow. Aroma is a combination of sweet and grainy. Ended up tasting too flat. Could be sharper. Not much in the way of aroma.

Dark golden with a white head, nice lacings. Aroma moderate malty, caramel, and hoppy. Flavor light to medium sweet and bitter. Medium body. This was Golden Trout.

(12oz can, labeled Golden Trout, courtesy of ericandersnavy) golden in color with good lacing and a white frothy head. Nose of bread, sweetness, clean grains, caramel and golden raisins. Taste of sweet bread, gold raisin, light earth, cracker. Really not too bad.

From a can at Davis Beerfest 2011. Pours clear golden with a nice off-white head and a toffee aroma. There is a refreshing caramel malt flavor with subtle hop bitterness.

Light pour, white head. Soapy, light pine, very light malt nose. Flavor is pretty bland with some very light bready notes. Meh.

One of the best smelling pilsners I’ve had. Very nice pine and citrus. The pour was golden with a big head. The flavor was summer beer. Drink lots when you cut the lawn and more when you bag the clippings. Very nice light beer.
