COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
An ode to the Owens Valley and the Highway 395 corridor, this Double IPA is distinctly bolder than out Epic IPA and celebrates the aromas of wild local fresh hops, sage, and juniper.

Draft in Mammoth, CA. Pours clear medium brown with a frothy off white head. The flavor is not like a typical IPA. The taste is mellow, nutty, malty, with a hint of grapefruit. Medium hops. Light body and medium carbonation. Mild aroma of nuts, malt, grapefruit, and fruity sweetness.

Delicious, the spicy hops, herbs and malts make this wonderful. The aroma of sage, rosemary and juniper berries. The palate is nice and rich with the flavored of the forest, perfect for the mountain.

Pours color of Assam tea, this double IPA is malt-forward on the aroma, little head or lasting lace, huge malty middle-palate of cooked dates with ginger notes, finishing very sweet not bitter. It says it’s brewed with juniper berries and sage, but I’m not getting those notes separating out. A rich, interesting, full-flavored beer for sure.

Bottle. Clear orange with a fluffy off white head. Herbal tea, hops, and caramel aroma. Tastes of caramel, sage, light juniper, and eucalyptus like flavors and an earthy toffee finish and moderate bitterness. Interesting.

Bottle shared by drsordr in Reno. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma has big herbal notes of juniper and sage with some caramel malts. The flavor has more juniper and sage herbal character, caramel malt, grass; not a normal dipa. Certainly worth trying.
