2.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
22oz bottle from valley beverage, Sherman oaks, CA. Deep mahogany/amber pour. Head was offwhite, dense, and an inch high. Smells like chocolate, gin, and freshly fried French fries, malty overall. Fairly well balanced flavor, leaning toward malt rather than hops. Caramel malt, bitter pine taste. Not nearly as special as the scent. Finish is sweet and dry, Chardonnay-like.

Beer pours reddish brown with a nice head. Aroma has a mild citrus with some hops. Taste has some toasted malts with some floral notes. Mild bitterness on the finish. Pretty good beer.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hazy orange pour with 1 finger creamy, rocky head. Funny juniper nose.. Some pine too. Caramel malt but not a lot of hops. The taste follows suit with that funny juniper thing resulting in a peculiar aftertaste. Like when you breathe out after drinking a dram od whisky. So oak, booze and again some juniper and berries. The finnish is the most representative of an ipa. Weird.

Pours a light copper color with a juniper and sage aroma. Taste is smooth with an easy drinking malt flavor. Flavor is a little sweet, with a well balanced aftertaste. Nice and enjoyable.

12FL OZ ($7.99 4 pack) this was a pretty smooth Imperial IPA. usually these are over the top bitter and this was rather tame. I won’t rate it low as I was expecting and looking for a tuff IBU but as a beer this was pretty good. If you’re seeking that tuff IBU this isn’t it but this is very good.

Bottle sample at a tasting. Thanks Rotem. Clear amber with a bit stable head. Smell of sage, juniper, chamomile and fruity hops. Taste of juniper, quite malty with herbal bitterness, medium-bodied, all in all not very balanced.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Well it looked beautiful in the glass. A gorgeous amber-brown with a big clumpy off-white head that has oodles of crazy lacing and fantastic retention. But, the rest is shit, poor aroma, taste and palate.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Rotem. Clear orange with a beige head. Aroma of juniper, a bit of sage, and stale hops. Sweetish flavor with malt, a bit of marmalade, juniper, soapy, stale hops, and strong bitterness. Medium-bodied.
