UPDATED: JUL 28, 2013 Well, while the nut brown went down, this went up on the re-rate. A really nice fresh sessionable flavor. Original 3.5 Not much aroma. This is an okay beer. Most of the hops come out in the finish. The flavor seems a little odd at first but overall it’s decent.

UPDATED: NOV 7, 2011 At tasting room. Aroma and flavor from cascade stand out. This beer burps very well with the flavor of cascade. Also found it is bottled under the alias of Yosemite pale ale.

I had this beer on tap at the base of the mountain at Little Eagle Lodge. It was perfect after a day on the slopes. This beer poured a golden brown color w/ orange highlights; very slight head and medium lasting lacing. The aroma was big w/ citrus, pine and a hemp note. The flavor was citrusy w/ oranges and grapefruits, pine and a good hemp note. The mouthfeel was light and carbonated. I really liked this beer.

Very clear amber with a fleeting head. Nice piney hop, grassy aromas. Smooth medium body. Good floral and pine hop flavors on a lightly sweet pale malt base. Another classic 80’s micro from these guys.

Appearance: Pours a yellow gold with an amber tint. Has a very sudsy head. Aroma: Citrus and pine followed by light malt. A wonderful citrusy floral boquet. Taste: A bitter resiny hop flavor, complemented by a nice malt back bone with a ever so slight roast note in the finish. Mouthfeel: Medium bodied, great carbonation. Overall: Real nice, hoppy and balanced.

Shared with Strykzone via Facebook chat. Poured a cloudy copper color. Big white head Lots of lacing. Nose of caramel malts and citrus and pine nose. Medium body and smooth clean mouithfeel. Flavor is a good balance of malts and hops with good bitterness that carries over into the finish. Very easy drinking. Great for the style.

Bottle as Paranoid Pale Ale. So much hop it suggests cat pee (that’s a good thing). I say citrus/floral (not grapefruit) with some resin/pine. Color is darkish coppery with tiny bubbles. The white head ringed quickly. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Flavor is hop - starting with pine, passing to grapefruit, and back. There is some malt, but balance favors hop! Finishes crisp and dry. Pretty good APA.

Bottle. Citrus floral hop aroma is prominent (and promising). Malt character is bready, sweet but not over done, hop flavors balance well. Mouthfeel is medium, finish is satisfying bitter. A very decent APA, I would certainly have another.

8 jan 2011, bottle. Light orange, slightly cloudy, steady bubbles. Aroma is oily bitter grapefruit. Thin body and fizzy. Bitter grapefruit rind. Not too bitter or astrIngent, but not much of anything else. Okay.

12 fl oz bottle: badged as ’Yosemite Pale Ale’. Poured twice at home into a stemmed ’Yuengling’ glass on 26 Aug 2013. A present from my daughter and son-in-law after a holiday in said park. Looked fine, a good deep golden body with a full off-white head on both pours. Hops to the fore in the nose and taste, with a malty undertone. I really liked this beer, good solid balance and plenty of flavour from start to finish. Liked the alcohol level, suited the body depth and flavour.
