TomDecapolis (2318), Collegeville, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 8, 2007 Pours a translucent amber with a smaller bubbly white head. Aroma of pine, vanilla and some other spices. Flavor of the same getting root beer? Arayaga2 (730), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 31, 2006 Dark brown with thin white head. Spruce evident in aroma and again in the taste, which had the essence of a pumpkin beer with all the spices that typically entails. DocLock (3958), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Jan 5, 2005 I’m not sure what it is about me and holiday beers, but it seems like I rate them higher than average typically. This one pours deep copper with a creamy, white head. Aroma of malt, hops, spice. Tastes spicy (nutmeg and cinnamon) malty, with a dense, firm palate, and finishing blasts of pumpkin, berries, and more nutmeg. Solid ruby color. This one is an elite holiday ale. hopdog (4347), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 31, 2004 On tap at the Manayunk Brew Pub. Poured a dark, dark red color with a small off white head. Aromas and tastes of pine, spruce, cinnamon and spices. Light vanilla in the tastes as well.
