msante79 (232), Illinois, USA Aug 22, 2008 12 oz bottle. Thanks to Kramer for this one. Pours hazy yellow gold with white head. Aroma is light fruit, sweet corn and yeasty. Flavor is light fruits and grains but finishes with odd sour and yeast flavor. Does not represent the pilsner style well but is drinkable. I found the other beer from this brewery tohave the same sour flavor but thought it was just from all the berries. Beerlando (1269), Orlando, Florida, USA Aug 12, 2008 Pours a cloudy, light golden-yellow color. A spongy, pure white head is well retained. Sudsy lacing mostly rejoins the body, with a few tiny spots lagging behind and sticking to th glass. The aroma is fairly non-descript, showing simple notes of cereal grains, lightly sweet corn malts, and a touch of peppery yeast. Flavors follow suit, though there’s a weird sourness to the yeast profile that seems completely out of place for this style. Dry up front, but finishing with corny sweetness. Light bodied and astringent. This is not a good Pils. Drinkable, but far from good. kramer (1868), sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA Jun 17, 2008 12 oz bottle, from brewery. Pours a clear pale yellow with a nice fluffy one finger white head. Moderate visible carbonation. Lightly malty nose with a bit of grassiness and a corn undertone. The flavor is very light, just a little corn and pale malt and just a minimal touch of bitterness on the short finish. Mouthfeel is thin and watery with moderate fizzy carbonation. This really would fit better in the Pale Lager category. This is no more a Pilsener than any of the BMC stuff. blipp (724), Grand Island, New York, USA Jun 4, 2008 Pours clear yellow with a thin white head. Light malt aroma, light body, light flavor. A bit of grain and grass. TomDecapolis (2416), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Dec 8, 2007 Pours a translucent golden with a small frothy with head. Aroma of cereal grains, lemon some grassy and corn. Flavor of pretzels, cheerios and some crisp citrus notes.
