3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draft at Caponeís. Pours a deep shade of hazy ruby with 1-finger off-white head. Nose is intense melanoids, heavy red vinous fruit, melted caramel. Tastes malty, hoppy, vinous fruity, with a big earthy component, rye notes, a thick, rich palate, and a smooth finish. Well made.
Edit: Kicking this down three tenths due to mid to late but pervasive diacetyls.

Man this place loves malty beers. Pours from tap a deep copper with a decent head. Big malty notes on the nose but more muted on the tongue. Finishes fairly clean. Not my favorite beer but drinkable.
