Inspired by the highly hopped beers from the west coast, our double IPA is truly a hopheadís delight. Five varieties of American hops added throughout the boil create a wide range of flavors including pine and citrus, while generous dryhopping in the fermentor provides the distinct aroma of fresh hops. We guarantee that this is one of the freshest double IPAís available, giving you a great reason to drink local.

on tap at Manayunk brewing, poured into pint glass a: golden/amber hue, prickly head with decent retention. leaves lacing rings around the glass s: citrusy and piney hop aroma dominates t: surprisngly well balanced DIPA. sweet malt is only slightly overpowered by pine and citrus hops. This reminds more more of an English IPA with more fermentables and american hops. alchohol is well hidden. m&d: light to medium bodied, well carbonated. Very drinkable beer for its ABV and can get you in touble with the sweetness.

16 ounce can via trade with dandywolffloyd. Thanks! The beer is a hazy gold with a white head of soapy looking foam. The aroma has floral oranges, some orange rind bitterness, and some resinous notes. The taste started out being sweet and sugary, but it really dries out and gets fairly bitter. Medium body and medium carbonation. Sort of slick mouthfeel.

Surprising. Big notes of orange, pine, all within a orange colored brew with two fingers of foam from can. West coast style, dry finish, grapefruit bitter. Strong bitter throughout. Bit of a pallette wrecker.

This was poured into a tulip. The appearance was a nice looking semi-hazy burnt yellow color with a slim fingerís worth of white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds. Light speckled lacing weaves its way around the glass in a messy sort of way. The smell has a nice blend of sweet pineapple, light mango, a little bit of orange and a slight bitter pine hops. The taste was mainly bitter with a semi-sweet dry citrus effect roaming across my tongue. Thereís no aftertaste but has a quick dry citrus finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation comes across fairly well as a DIPA. Biter citrus rind hits my tongue decently. Overall, as a DIPA it works. Itís a little more dry than some other DIPAís Iíve had. Still good for the most part.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a bright golden color with an enormous foamy tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was gritty, leafy, piney and floral hops. The flavor was gritty, leafy, piney and floral hops. All hops with nothing to back it up. Medium length finish. Medium body. Alcohol well hidden. Ok.

Pours birhgt orange with a foamy two finger off white head with nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, tropical fruits, pine, sweet malts, and some light bready malts. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a meidum body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, semi dry, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice DIPA.

Pours an golden orange with a thick white head. Aroma of bitter citrus with a mild malt presence. Taste is a hop bomb in the best way possible. Loads of citrus and tropical fruit. Very tasty.

Nice IPA. Another example of balance in an IPA. Manayunk does a great job here. Citrus front with no bitter bite. Well done beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 4, 2013 can- pours a clear orange. Hoppy. the alcohol is hidden by bitterness caramel and fruity pine. Smooth but knock a punch of flavors and hop. First time I seen a shrink wrapped can. I liked it.
