On tap at brewery. Light amber with thin white head. Pine nose. Nice hop flavor with malt sweetness bitterness on par with style although it is slightly cloying. Best brew thus far.

Amber with a thin head. The aroma had some pine and citrus. The flavor had a bit too much sweetness for my taste. A nice bitterness comes to wash that away though with pine and citrus.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 NikkTwist (887) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 11, 2013
UPDATED: APR 19, 2013 Draft at Moriartys. Tulip. Poured a clear orange gold with a lacy off-white foam. Looks nice. Good big mix of hop flavors. Honey-dipped pinecones. Tangerine peels. Black peppercorns. Anbesol. Dried leaves. Pretty much runs the hop gamut from piney to earthy to grassy to spicy. Decent body for an IPA. A big hop monster with minimal malt flavors to get in the way. The bite is quite sharp and continues to linger for ... pretty much ever.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jkwood04 (2291) - Connecticut, USA - OCT 11, 2012
On nitro tap at the beer store. Pours bright golden with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy hops and a little pine plus a good amount of caramel malts. Flavor the same. Nitro gives this a really nice texture. A really good beer.

Tap at Iron Abbey. Clear light orange pour with a white head. Citrus hops dominate, with a bit of resin in the flavor. Good stuff.

Deep gold in color with a whitish head. Smooth, a bit sweet with citrus zest, pine, oak, and a distinct hops finish that is nice and not too bitter. Strong, but very drinkable.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 UDBeernut (870) - Near Buffalo, New York, USA - FEB 28, 2012
on tap at Manayunk brewing, poured into pint glass
a: golden/amber hue, prickly head with decent retention. leaves lacing rings around the glass
s: citrusy and piney hop aroma dominates
t: surprisngly well balanced DIPA. sweet malt is only slightly overpowered by pine and citrus hops. This reminds more more of an English IPA with more fermentables and american hops. alchohol is well hidden.
m&d: light to medium bodied, well carbonated. Very drinkable beer for its ABV and can get you in touble with the sweetness.

On draft at Pinnochio’s in Media as California Dreamin’. Pour was orange with an ok minor head, little lacing. Aroma was strong astringent grapefruits/citrus. The flavor followed with a harsh unpleasant unripened citrus hop flavor, astringency strong, just not a great base beer. Mouthfeel was moderate, carbonation moderate, an overall impression that was so so. Tons of better dIPA’s out there at this much of a hit to the liver.
