COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
WET-HOPPED GOLDEN ALE The annual Hop Harvest ale is the most coveted of all seasonals and is prized by brewers and consumers alike. This beer can be made only two days out of the year during the harvest in Yakima, Washington. The hops are taken directly off the vine and sent overnight to be used in our kettle the next day. This annual elixir is bright gold and produces a distinct floral taste akin to the smell of fresh hops, without being at all bitter. Enjoy it while you can. We sure will! 5.5% ABV, 33 IBUs

Draft. Pours gold with a thin head. Lightly sweet aroma with plenty of hops and a bit of citrus. The flavor is fairly well balanced with sweet malt and some floral and citric hops.

Draught at Capone’s: Aroma of hops, pine, slight citrus, and hop freshness. Poured amber in color with a medium-sized, creamy, off-white head that diminished but lasted throughout. Clear. Sparkling. Flavor is slightly bitter. Tastes of pine, caramel, crystal malts, hops, and slight wood. Medium body. Thin, dry texture. Soft to average carbonation. Hop and crystal malt finish is lightly dry.

Clear amber with no head. Nice floral and citric nose with hints of grapefruit, apple, orange, grass, and pine. Taste is rather bland with some decent resiny notes. Floral, fruity and bitter, Average.

On tap at the philly brewpub. Sure fire hoppy floral arma, rather fresh. Reddish orange in color. Seems to have all the good flavors of hops without being overly bitter. Little carbonation. Rather friendly and not too offensive for hops, which I don’t care for. Lingering medium bitter finish that is easy to accomodate.

On tap at the Manayunk Brew Pub. Poured a meduim golden color with an averaged sized white head. Aromas of floral, pine, and citrus. Tastes of floral, grass and had a light honey sweetness. Had an all around fresh hop quality. Nice and bitter (I would have guessed this was high than the listed 33 IBUs) with a light sweetness. Thinner body.

Poured a bright golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pine, citrus, and lemongrass. Taste of grassy hops, toffee malts, light honey, and a light grapefruit hop finish.

Another nice hoppy beer from these guys. Dark straw colored, with big hoppy and citrus aromas. The flavor gave a floral hop note, along with some Bell pepper and tangerine hints. Decent palate heft and complexity. Manayunk has gone from a once a year trip to a once a quarter trip for me.

I drank a growler full. Clear golden body with moderate carbonation and a receding medium white head. Aroma of cedar chips and warm spicy hops plus toasted bread and light caramel. Flavor is of toasted malt, spicy hops, sweet peanuts and some graininess. Lightly sweet with moderate bitterness. Fairly light, but palatable with ample flavor.
