UPDATED: FEB 10, 2014 Not quite a session beer, but it drinks like one. The aroma is packed with Apollo or similar hops. The flavor is a bit mild with subtle hints of grain and a very dry bitter finish. This beer is crisp and easy to drink.

ordered the double IPA got this. So I was disappointed before I took a sip. This beer did nothing to lift my spirits. Average, boring, plain. Thumbs down

Can thanks to Dmac. Pours out a decent golden colors with a small white head. Aroma is of citrus hops, a touch of fruit, some malty bready sweetness. Taste is of some decent sweet/bitter citrus hops, sweet malts, bread, dough and some lingering bitterness on the finish.

12oz can thanks to dmac. Drinking while bottling my Mango IPA. Pours a clear amber color with a finger and a half of frothy white head. Aroma of sweet oranges, faint caramel malt, and a hint of yeast. Taste of older rotted oranges, citrus zest, pine, and caramel malt.

12 oz. can. Poured clear light brown color. Hop with some citrus notes. Light body. I like the bite/fruit combination in this. Pretty balanced but not much going on here. I like the cans though.

12oz can via 4pack from Spirits Rt 166. Poured a good looking mostly clear golden nectar body under a smaller foamy way off white head. Aroma is too sweet, sweet breads, amber malts, older tangerine, dough. Medium body with bubbly carbonation and a bitter dry finish. Flavor is citrus rind, grain, some dry orange slices, touch of earth. Mmmm itís okay at best.

Nitro at bistro on bridge. Pours clear orange with a large white head. The aroma has nice floral notes, light citrus, light pine. The taste is creamy with a light bitterness. Not special but good enough.

Can from Weis Lewisburg. Pours orange with an inch of white foam. Not a lot going on on the nose. Fairly piney on the tongue Finishes clean. Solid example of style.

Can. Nose sweet caramel with base, low-slung PNW hops, but a nice doughy counterbalance. Pours rich orange, clear with golden undertones, light carbonation, dense and rocky beige head. Good lace. Taste lightly sweet but thatís overtaken by very effective medium bitterness and medium-strong resin, has some nice minerally Pilsner-like bite, pine. Fruity/floral taste is a caress rather than a sledgehammer. Watery light body, not super crisp, but still refreshing. I like how itís moved closer to a lager-hybrid, and I like how sessionable the flavor is. Bitterness is a bit hard and inflexible, though not at Jever levels.

Pint at standard tap, orange hazy appearance with small head that didnít last too long. Aroma an flavor is pine, oranges, malt, and grain. Has enough citrus to go down smooth but a little grainy and homebrewish in the finish. Still one of the better manyaunks I have had to date.
