Jun 10, 2007 On tap at Ortino’s Northside. Pours a lightly hazy golden with an average creamy/lacing off white head. Aroma of grainy malts, some citrus and Saison spices. Flavor was up front yeasty, spicy, crisp and dry. Some grainy cereal grains, hints of bitter hops and honey. various spices went well with the spicy chicken dish I had.

May 28, 2007 Golden Saison with flavor leaning more to pepper and spices than citrus. Hints of Belgian yeast. Manayunk Saison was decent, just not a full blown Saison.

May 16, 2007 Light & clear golden color with a smaller head. Aroma is light and somewhat musty with hints of raw grain and yeast. Taste is very peppery with some earthy and yeast undertones. Not bad, but I like my Saisons cloudy, complex, and in something other than a standard shaker/pint glass.

May 9, 2007 Draft at brewpub. Hazy medium gold pour with minimal off-white head. Aroma is spicy and hopcitric, with some funky yeasty and fruity notes in the aroma and flavor. Stays on the dry side throughout.
