Manayunk Sasquach Maple Brown Ale

Wow! What a balancing act. The maple syrup flavor is right up front, backed by a lightly chocolaty malt character. The hop bitterness is present but unobtrusive. Full bodied, rich and strong. This beer should not be served in pints! Of course, it is on the sweet side and one pint is enough. More of an after dinner drink.

Too sweet!! This dark brown colored brown ale just had way too much of a brown sugar taste and it wiped my olefactory senses and tastebuds in the blink of an eye. I hope this was just a bad batch and not indicitive the this beer.
