COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Flavors of roast and smoke are seamlessly blended together in this dark, robust ale. A small portion of beechwood smoked malt is added for a subtle smokey aroma while the chocolate and black malts provide flavors of dark chocolate and coffee. Pairs especially well with slow cooked foods.

On tap at brewery. Dark brown, clear thin tan head. Smoke on the nose. Roasty smoke flavor, some malt sweetness but mild. Lots of flavor but smoke could be toned down a touch.

The smoked flavors of this beer stand In the forefront. The one thing missing I the sample is the porter qualities. Dark ale, yes, enjoyable smoked beer, yes, porter only in name.

Aroma of great smoky stout. Campfire, roast meat and coffee. Pours black with a big fluffy head. Taste follows suit. Nice roast coffee with meaty campfire. Mouthfeel is soft but not too thick. Lovely rauch.

Pours dark brown with a tan head which stuck around. Aroma is smoke, roast, and espresso. Taste is smoke bitters and alot more sweetness then anticipated, some dark chocolate notes. Medium bodied with a slick texture. Very nice smoked porter.

Beautiful beer! Thick chunky tan head that lasts and laces for the whole pint. Rich smoky chewy brew. Finishes long dry nice.
