COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Imperial Wheat. We have taken our wildly popular Hefeweizen recipe and ramped it up to wine strength and are thrilled with the outcome. The result is a suprisingly quenching deep gold elixir with the heat of alcohols hidden nicely under the silky texture of fruity esters from the finest malted wheat available, a slightly elevated fermentation temperature, and months of careful aging. We are proud to share our creation with you and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
UPDATED: MAR 17, 2010 On tap at Manayunk, seems to be a once in a while brew. This is actually an imperial american wheat. Pretty high ABV, most of this is covered by american wheat flavor, but some alcohol still peaks out. The taste is usual american wheat, but with a little sourness.
