Brewed with real pumpkin, this seasonal favorite is the one true indication that fall has arrived. The aroma of nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon, and clove jump out of the glass creating an experience much like eating a slice of pumpkin pie on a brisk autumn afternoon. A perfect companion for any of our desserts. Formerly at 6.8%.

Nice little pumpkin beer. Pleasant aroma of cinnamon and nutmeg. Slightly bitter as far as pumpkin beers go in the taste. Good carbonation. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 ounce can. Amber orange with a rich creamy beige head. Fragrant clove and cinnamon nose with vegetal notes. Flavor is lightly bitter with pumpkin and light spice. The spice is pleasantly understated here. Light body makes this easygoing and refreshing. Finish is dry with clove and cinnamon on the tongue.

12 oz can poured into pint glass. Thin white head gone very quickly. Aroma is squash aka pumpkin. Taste is squash or pumpkin. Very little spice. Light to moderate carbonation. Easy finish. Over all good pumpkin ale especially if you are into the true squashy pumpkin taste rather then "pumkin spice"

Pours burnt orange with a tan off white head which fades to very little lacing. Aroma is of pumpkin, pie spices, sweet malts, bready malts, caramel, and some sour, overly ripe fruit notes. Taste is about the same as the aroma. Has a medium-light body with a semi watery mouthfeel and a slightly sour, but mostly sweet, medium-short finish. Overall, a disappointing pumpkin ale that some off sour notes and is too watery.

Can to pint glass. Aroma is atrocious. Sour ,moldy type smell. Almost urine. The good news is that it does not taste anywhere near as bad as it smells. Lots of fall spices early... nutmeg, allspice, cinnamon....and full pumpkin flavour later. Some alka seltzer like aftertaste. Feel is flat. Will save one for the 2015 Double Blind Pumpkin Tasting.

Can at the brewery in Manayunk. Not very good. Hazy cloudy pumpkin color. Metallic taste to the beer. Also a little bit of sour, lactic acid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A hazy orange color, small white layer of head. Smell is nutty with pumpkin, cinnamon/spice, malt and bread. A good brew that tastes quite a bit like pumpkin pie. It’s all natural flavors bring out the yeast creating a bit of a dry beer. Nutmeg, spice and earth top it off. Light and airy.

Draft at Milkboy in Phila. Hazy orange amber pour that quickly resulted in no head. Ghostly pumpkin spice. Juicy body, but missing any strong flavors. Anomaly or not?
