Hazy pale yellow color, small white head, looks like a witbier. Perfumic fruity aroma, I can imagine mandarine peels here. Crisp, spicey, citrusy - like chewing orange peels: witbier with lemon added. Palate is on the lighter side and tastes a bit artificial. Refreshing, summer drink - flowers and bees and so on ...

Ruby grapefruit aroma. Light lemonadey taste. Too much like kiddie fruit juice. Well below the other Mortal we tried - maybe a duff bottle?

(draught) Very pale beer, very little head. Grainy and citrussy nose, at the same time. Citrussy, yes, but not expressly mandarine. Taste is another sample of the just-off-Saison, patisserie Mortal’s touch. More citrussy than the other Mortal’s beers, but again I cannot confirm "Mandarine". It’s just good. Medium bodied, fruity but not dry. Very good fruit beer. It’s the overall that makes its strenght. I wouldn’t have guessed mandarine, but then, who cares if it tastes right?

sayravai (4654) - Helsinki, FINLAND - FEB 25, 2008
(Bottled, 5.2% ABV) Very hazy yellow with almost no head. Aroma of sweetish lime and mandarine, some ginger and coriander. Acidic-limey flavor, something between Two Dogs and Finnish mead - still drinkable, though. Light-bodied, quite carbonated palate. Not very sugary, but not that refreshing, either. Dunno who this is aimed for.
