4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 SamGamgee (2452) - down the whirlpool, California, USA - DEC 31, 2010
Draught at Het Anker. Lightly hazy blond with a delicate head, leaving nice lacing. Dry and slightly vinous, with fragrant chamomile and fruit in the aroma. Lightly hoppy and fruity through the flavor as well. A very impressive blond with delicate floral and fruity notes, but everything is balanced and this leads to drinkability far exceeding most 6% beers. A great way to kick off the day.

3.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 kask (24) - Møgeltoender, DENMARK - NOV 24, 2010
The color is yellow and slightly cloudy. The foam is high and dense.
Aroma has notes of peach, yeast and citrus. The same notes are repeated in the taste, which also has a hint of honey.
Carbonation is medium. It is a quite full-bodied, rounded and relatively dry blonde, which is free from any note of sugar.
It’s very plain, but everything is mixed together well and it is in perfect balance.
I’m not really fond of Blonde´s, but I will get some more of this one, when I again come across Belgium.
