A 550 ml bottle -- the original way this iconic Mozambican beer is served. Not much of a head and not heavy on the hops but a nice malty texture for the palate. Best served cold.

Bottle on Ibo Island. More hot country lager, few defining characteristics, goldenish colour, not much hop. A bit cleaner than 2M I reckon. Drink while cold, not too bad.

Bottled. A light yellow beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of metal and straw as well as light notes of malt. The flavor is very sweet with notes of metal and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle. Tasted blind @ yespr. Pours a very pale yellow color with a small white head. Has a fruity grainy aroma with hints of cardboard. Watery malty grainy flavor. Has a sweetish fruity grainy finish.

Thanks to travlr for bringing this back and sharing at a recent tasting. Served in a SAVOR snifter. Pour yields a brew that is completely transparent with just a hint of straw coloring to it. Minimal head on the pour, and that almost immediately disappears. The nose has some light creamed corn along with a bit of faint grain and very, very mild hops. The flavor is more of the same. Not as offensive as some of the others, but still pretty bad. Really light with a somewhat-bitter finish. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 03-28-2011

Inert clear pale yellow pour with a white head. Very skunky aroma with old coffee notes. Quite offensive actually. Taste isn’t so quite so bad. Just sugar water with notes of corn. Very watery and flavorless.

Bottle shared by Travlr. Pours clear straw with a light, fizzy white head, no retention or lacing. Aroma and flavor are straw, spicy hops, metal, and corn. Light body, warmth, and carbonation with a dry finish.
