Bottle. Pours a clear amber with a little head. Decent beer, pretty boring. Nothing real special from them so far.

Bottle pour. Just a bit missing with this Amber. Not quite the taste I like since there was some metallic aftertaste.

Pours a light amber with foamy white head. Grassy hops, sweet malt and funk on the nose. Taste is light caramel malt, molasses and hard water. Expected more from this. It’s easy drinking and pleasant but pretty boring.

[Bottle] Pours deep reddish-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is big on popcorn (not butter, just hand popped plain popcorn), and rice cakes (in a good way). Simple, but clean and enjoyable. The taste is unsurprisingly pretty much just barley with restrained caramel sweetness and very mild bitterness. Overall, for a style which generally is one of my least enjoyed, I thought MB did a great job. The aroma in particular is great, and while the taste is a bit of a letdown, the beer is one of the best amber ales I’ve tried.

Note: Allowing this beer to warm makes it much less enjoyable, and actually somewhat difficult to finish.

On tap at Blue Bricks in Mankato. Aroma is a little spice and fruit, but pretty mild. Not much lacing, just a thin white head around the edge. This beer is relatively mild, but really tasty and drinkable. It would be easy to drink a few of these - very sessionable.

On draught at Buster’s Sports Bar & Grill in Mankato, MN. Pours a clear light brownish amber with a quick dissipating off-white head that leaves behind some spotty lacing and a thin white ring. Aroma of light caramel malt, a hint of spice hops and some light fruit. Taste is medium bodied, soft carbonation with flavors of toasted caramel malt, a hint of spice/grassy hops and a touch of ale yeast. Finish has a short lived bitterness followed by some toasted caramel malt aftertaste.

It is a light great tasting Amber that is really easy to drink. I would use the old saying "taste great, less filling" to describe the beer. I hope it becomes a regular beer in thier line up. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
