Bottle. Pours a light yellow, tons of carbonation, white head. Decent like beer, but not worth ever drinking again.

Pours a light gold with big white head. Some hop aroma, but mainly malt. Flavor is rather bitter, with a bitter, almost metallic, finish to it.

Very light straw color with foamy white head. Fruity corn aroma. Fuller body and maltier than I expected. Wheat, corn, a little fruitiness and some yeast. Easy drinking and refreshing. Not bad.

Bottle pour. 1 month past best by date, so that might effect this. Like Stickum better. Also has slightly metallic taste.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow color with white head. Straw, hay, malty aromas dominate in this beer. Crisp, straw, earthy, grainy flavor. A nice crisp refreshing kolsch, with a nice touch of bitterness. This is just a really nice kolsch.

sold as Mankato Kolsch, at THT 1Oct2012, super light beer, smooth and easy to drink, a nice light beer works great as a palate cleanser

Tap @ Town Hall Tap Minneapolis. Pours a clear, golden appearance with a white head. Clean, crisp, grassy, herbal, slightly floral aroma. Really a crisp, grassy, straw, grainy flavor with a fair amount of character and while it’s nothing special, it was easy to drink.

Yeah, well, rated hedonistically, I have a hard time elevating this one very high. Rich yellow color with very clingy, white head. Corn and cherios, with a moderate bitterness in the finish and a lingering grassy note. There’s more to it than a typical American pale lager, but even as a Kolsch it isn’t particularly to my liking. As my wife would say, it tastes an awful lot like beer. Bottle.

Had this at the All Pints North festival in Duluth, MN. Light bitter scent, a little bit on of a corny flavor.

Gold pour with a medium white head.
aroma is biscuity, light grainy malt. light melon and grassy hop.
Flavour is more aggressive grassy hop up front backed by cereal, light honey sweetness, then a semi dry finish.
