smells like an orchid with some earthy components nice cloudy goldish/orange color tastes like barnyard and apple juice really good also fermenting apples a little extreme just for one person unless thats what your in to all around pretty damn good cider nice dry after taste not to sweet in the least bit.

Bottled. Hazy golden, coarse head. Lambic and red berries up front. Blue cheese, sugar and rubbery smoke. Fruity and salty with light body. Interesting and richly flavourful but with some weird edges.

2005 bottle. Sent in a photo to upload. No, this bottle was not agitated, i have let it sit for a while, and it did not travel. Started off as a gusher, cork popped as soon as I started to undo the metal ties. Gushed for about a minute. Opaque fizzy yellow appearance. Slight barnyard funk to the aroma, but not as bad as some others. There is also some plastic and then the apples and maybe some eau poire. Very very very very fizzy. First sip nearly went up my nose with all the bubbles. I couldn’t taste anything at first, just trying to overcome the carbonation. It is inexcusable. Much fizzier than a sod, have problems getting it down, let alone anaylzing the flavor. From what little I could get it is sweet with some woody elements. Hard to drink as each sip = 1 burp. Let my glass sit for a while, and bubbles were still rising vigorusly 30 minutes later. Something is wrong with this one.

2005 bottle from a gourmet shop in Paris, only 6€. Tart, umami, cilantro and oxidized apple aroma. Sweeter flavor, rice and peach flavor. Very light and drinkable, relaxing. Pretty nice.

Bottled, vintage 2004. Maybe it’s just me but I hated this cider. I’m not used to drinking it, but the first Lambic I ever had wasn’t my taste either. But for the Lambic I was impressed with the quality and balance. This cider doesn’t have that. The aroma is interesting with wood, yeast and gunpowder(?). Hazy, dark yellow color, sparkling. The flavor however was near to unbareable. Light sweet, hints of apple, loads of yeast and above all very chemical/medicinal. Very unbalanced in the flavor with a dry and metallic mouthfeel.

From a deep golden silhouette pirouette earthy and rich wild apples...Round but sparse bubbles lighten this bucolic portrait, as complex caramel apples frolick with an oncoming dryness...A gorgeous little quaffer with as many flavors as it can offer for its size...

Pours a hazy blonde color with a medium diminishing white head. Excellent funky aroma with tart apples. Excellent flavor of farmhouse funk with tart apples. The body is light and the texture liquorous. Great stuff.

(750ml bottle) Sampled at Goldorak’s Sunday MTL Gathering. What??? A Fantome-esque cider? Strange nose. Yeasty, manure, cut grass and iodine. Just a terrific tar nose. Smooth, sweet, fizzy, sour. Beautiful golden colour. Medicinal and complex with minimum carbonation. A lovely beer!
