Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours yellow with white head. Taste is Belgian yeast with some tropical aroma. Too much yeast flavor

Bottle from Capitol Beer & Tap Room. Pours blonde with a huge white head that quickly subsided and a citrus aroma. There is a carbonated pale malt flavor that is a bit sour with a huge yeast presence and a dry finish.

GABF 2014. Labeled as "Bretween" rather than Between. A dry ipa, Belgian yeast I believe, it is in the character of a Belgian ipa. Yellow color. ok.

On tap at Beer Thirty. It pours a cloudy yellow color with a white head. The aroma has some light grapefruit, lemon peel and florals. Faint peppery phenolics and fruity esters. The flavor is soft and grapefruity with some mild pepper and esters. Citrus and more grapefruit in the finish. Moderately bitter and peppery. Not bad.

On tap at Slaters 50/50. Pours a golden yellow with a giant fuzzy white head. Excellent lacing. Aroma of orange peel and hops. Definite creamy body. Goes down smoothy. Looks are definitely deceiving with this one. Tastes like a creamy ale, but looks like a light beer. Great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured straight from the fridge and I get 8 10ths foam, 2 10ths beer? No matter., the colour is a hazy light orange, the foam you already know aboot, the lacing isnít all that grand. The smell is yeasty, sweetish from the malt, I donít really get much of what the IPA brings in the smell. The taste is yeasty, has almost a funk like character, a bit of sweetness, but the hops sure do show up in the taste. I can taste the citra influence; an abundance of tropical fruity goodness. Read some other reviews how they play out. It certainly is a very dry beer, And, a very enjoyable and very drinkable beer. This, imho, is outstanding. Iíve never even heard of the brewery but this caught my attention after the very first sip. Back down, pineapple! Nah, never mind. A great mouthfeel rounds out this very fine brew. For me, this is one of THE finds of 2014.

Deep gold pour, white head. Tropical fruits hit the tongue up front...mango, lychee, pineapple, caramel malts. Flavors are integrated well in this. Good beer.

22oz bomber pours up with a deep gold body that has copper hues and supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up grapefruit, mango like tropical fruit, tangelo, pineapple and some light malt sweetness in the background. The taste comes across balanced with hop flavor, malts and hop bitterness with grapefruit, some tangelo, a tropical fruit like note and pineapple. This is hitting the spot right now as its rich and balanced and very easy drinking.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a slight creamy white head. Aroma of fruity ester - suggests pineapple. Med body or better. Flavor is sharp, biting. Like less than ripe pineapple! Itís also earthy. The old Belgian yeast/spice thing is in play, but Iím not getting banana. Really complex, tho the flavors are not extreme. With some time passing it actually starts to be USA IPA with a little caramel and citrus. Lotís of subtle stuff going on here. Good drink.
