Lightly kilned caramel malts round out the pungent, piney Chinook dry-hopping. As its smooth mouthfeel dissipates into a pleasantly bitter finish, we hope you’ll find our IPA an elegant outlier from its hometown crowd.

Pours copper-orange with a one finger off white head with pretty nice lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, caramel, sweet malt,s and light herbal hops. Taste i about the same as the aroma. Has a medium body with a semi creamy mouthfeel and a moderately bitter, medium-long finish. Overall, a pretty nice IPA that is named after a mountain in my hometown that I have ran/hiked so many times.

Twisted Manzanita IPA (USA) - IPA - 6.6% 90 IBU - 4.50€ - 3.4/5

65 cl bottle. Dark copper color, lots of particle in suspension, thick white head. Hoppy nose of american hops. Aroma: dark bread, cereals, grains, nuts, wanlut. Strangely a strong presence of dark cocoa powder. Taste is definitely bitter in its 90 IBU, a bit tart, finish is dry, dusty, with alcoholic fuel notes. Medium bodied, carbonated. Punchy IPA.

22oz bottle - Aroma - spicy hop, orange juice, wet leaves with a good dose of plain sugar sweet smell Appearance - hazy pale amber body, 2-finger off-white head, average retention/no lacing Mouthfeel - medium carbonation, medium mouthfeel Flavor - well balanced with a nice citrusy/piney hop profile. Sweet malts and in abundant here too, and the high 7% abv is well hidden. Pretty nice.

650 ml bottle. Pours a hazy dark copper color with a small off-white head that has fair retention. The aroma is mild with roasted barley and pine. The taste showcases hops that are piney without being harshly bitter. The malts base is light caramel and roasted grains. The palate is full and smooth with soft carbonation. Finishes long and just a tad sweet. Overall: I haven’t had a Manzanita brew in a few years and i gotta say that they have improved remarkably. They have gone from ambitious homebrewers to real professional brewers with a viable product. cheers guys.
